A lot of sugar-free cakes taste sugar-free, or they taste like they are low-carb. One of the great things about this cheesecake is that it does not taste low-carb or sugar-free.
Sometimes when you are on a low-carb keto diet, you want something sweet; this recipe can help satisfy that sweet taste. This is a low-carb, sugar-free chocolate cheesecake that is filled with lots of great ingredients. Even though the cheesecake has no crust, it does not need a crust and tastes well if served with a dash of whipping cream.

About The Low-Carb Sugar-Free Chocolate Cheese Cake
Our low-carb, sugar-free cheesecake recipe is modified from a traditional recipe; we added chocolate and chocolate chips to the cake for added flavor.
We also made using vanilla and salt optional, but we like chocolate with both vanilla and salt; you can decide if you want to add those.
This cake is straightforward and is the kind of cake you can make for your dinner guests even if they are not on a keto and low-carb diet; they will not even know that the cake is low-carb or sugar-free.
Also, the cake has creams but is not rich or overly sweet. If you want a sweet but not overly sweet cake, this is the cheesecake for you.
What Kind Of Chocolate Do You Use For Your Low Carb Chocolate Cheese Cake?
The chocolate we are using is two kinds of chocolates; both brands of chocolate can be purchased at COSCO. If you can not find these brands, you can use brands or chocolate that you can find at your grocery store.
The chocolate is sugar-free powder chocolate; any powdered sugar-free chocolate will work.
The chocolate chips are stevia sweetened, so they are not sweetened with sugar; the fact they use stevia is essential to us as we want a sugar-free cake.
About Monk Fruit Sugar
Our favorite type of sugar substitute is monk fruit sugar. Monk fruit sugar has 0 calories and no carbohydrates, but it also has quite a good taste. It works pretty well in many recipes, including the chocolate cheesecake recipe.
Today there are many brands of Monk Fruit Sugar that you can buy, but our favorite brand is still Lakanto. You can find Lakanto Monk Fruit sugar at most grocery and food stores. For this recipe, we used their white monk fruit sugar.

For Keto Chocolate Cake Take Out Chocolate Chips
If you want a more keto-compliant cake, take out the Stevia chocolate chips. Even though the Stevia chocolate chips have Stevia in them, they still have quite a few carbohydrates.
And even the best brands of Stevia chocolate chips have carbohydrates. This cake also works well without the chocolate chips in it.
Why The Vanilla Is Optional
The original recipe for this cake did not call for vanilla. But as we are huge fans of vanilla, and we love vanilla in almost all of our sweet foods, we have added vanilla to this recipe.
If you’re not a fan of vanilla, you can feel free to take it off, but if you are like me and love it, then keep it in the recipe.
Serve With Whipping Cream
We serve this chocolate cake with whipping cream. We will add a bit of vanilla and monk fruit sugar to the whipping cream and then top the cake with the whipping cream and a few Stevia chocolate chips.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 Cup Whipping Cream
- 20 ounces – 2 1/2 cups cream cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 Cups Monk Fruit or Erythritol sugar blend (more if you want more sweetness)
- 2 1/4 tsp almond flour
- 1 cup unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup no sugar added chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla (optional)
- 1 tsp salt (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F 200 C
- Add all the ingredients except chocolate to a large bowl, and mix well.
- Add chocolate into the bowl and continue to mix, then stir in chocolate chips.
- Pour mixture into a pan and bake in the lower part of the oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until the surface of the cake is nicely browned and thoroughly cooked.
- Remove from oven and let it sit for about 2 hours before serving.
This is a great cheesecake to make the day before, as it does well with sitting for a day.
Do not open the oven when baking, as this cake will become more solid as it cools.
